Dîner-Conférence par Hugh Ellis: « Network & Security Monitoring – In-line vs Out-of-Band Visibility »
avril 20, 2016 @ 11:45 - 1:30
Free à $45Description
The number of security and network monitoring tools continues to grow, along with new requirements for gaining visibility into network traffic. As requirements get more complex, it can be quite the challenge to architect a highly available, resilient visibility solution—especially where cost-effectiveness, scalability, security and compliance are key requirements.
This session will examine common security and network monitoring tools, and how and where to connect each into the network, to gain visibility into network traffic. The focus will be on the architectural considerations at play in deploying different Network Visibility solutions—SPAN ports, taps, bypass switches and packet brokers—to deliver effective visibility into network traffic traversing today’s enterprise networks.
Attend this session to learn:
- In-line vs. Out-of-Band: What different types of Monitoring Tools require
- The problem with SPAN ports, and next steps up the Scalability ladder
- Ensuring high availability, maintain-ability, and eliminating service impacts
- Key Traffic to Monitor: SSL Encrypted Traffic, DNS, other Anomalies
- Compliance Considerations – Support for Audit Logs, RBAC and more
- Extending monitoring to support Virtual and Cloud environments
Cette formation vous permet d’obtenir 1 CPE (Continuing Professional Education).
